Showboat is one of my favourite musical shows. I have about 6 different versions on Cd & DVD. This performance was very good if a little bit long. I have to say that the young lady who played Magnolia sang very well but had strange teeth!!! That put me off a little but overall it was a good effort. Liked the add ons, particularly the story of the 1988 recording.
