Alice Faye was about the biggest female star on the Twentieth Century-Fox lot in the early-mid 1940s. However, unlike many stars of her day, she walked away--leaving the studio when at the peak of her career. What exactly transpired between her and studio head Darryl F. Zanuck that pushed her to walk isn't talked about, but it at least appears as if she was happy to raise her children and be a mom. However, this wasn't all she did and this nice short film discusses her radio show, a few film appearances she made over the years and her representing Pfizer as a spokesperson were all discussed. What made this particularly nice was that both Faye's daughters participated in the film and it was very enjoyable listening to them talking lovingly about their mother. It was a very nice little film and made me appreciate her a lot more, as her life really was NOT the big screen--making her one smart lady!

this is simply a short documentary, of where Ms. Faye's life led her, after she quit the movies. Interviews with her daughters, among others, no clips or anything, and that's that.
