At the height of her glory in 1954 she had a tumultuous love life and a string of legendary movies behind her. But when she turned 28 she left the glitz and glamor to move to Madrid, a poor and repressed country in the iron vice of dictatorship. The film sets out to probe the psychological and emotional quirks of this star who chose exile in the worst of places at the worst of times.
