Its a shame the loss of a great actress in the making
Great performance by Marilyn Monroe. One can see her potential and it is a shame that at the time movies were cast by men who believed that actresses were at their beckon call. Miss Monroe fought for the right for good parts but like a lot of promising actresses could not beat the boy's club. She succeeded in a couple of films. Just imagine if she had been cast as an actress and not a sex object.

The Film was OK,
the Film was average for that era, when I was a kid and saw it I was more impressed with it then, Marilyn was the show stopper and always will be.

Marilyn Monroe.
I thought the plot was decent. The outcome was unexpected. This is a good movie and Marilyn sparkles as the daughter who is seeking more in life with a good man no matter what class he is from.
