Cute, but dated

Saintly Sinners (1962) is a formulaic poor-priest-in-a-derelict-parish story. But if you can get away from the dated nature of the movie you will enjoy a cute little movie with decent acting. The kindly priest is the protagonist Father Dan Sheridan (Don Beddoe, you may not recognize the name, but you will the face), and his main antagonists is Mrs. McKenzie (Ellen Corby) and the Monsignor Craig (Addison Richards). There are a whole slue of shady characters, with many recognizable faces, to round the out cast. Just sit back and enjoy 77 minutes of yesteryear and simpler times.
