great music
This is a great 1940's era musical comedy. Great dancing, wonderful singing and 40's band music. They don't make movies like this anymore.

Old fashioned good humour and music
This was a very old fashioned musical with a nice story and a lovely ending, plenty of music and dance. No drugs, violence of abuse of women, in fact thoroughly enjoyable.

Fun Forties Musical!
So happy to find this movie available at Zeus, since it's impossible to find anywhere else! The film features a great cast with the top stars of the 1940's - a very young William Holden, beautiful Dorothy Lamour, cute Eddie Bracken, and Betty Hutton at her over the top best! Additional bonus with musical numbers by Jimmy Dorsey & his Orchestra - featuring Bob Eberly & Helen O'Connell! Just a fun film to watch! I'm also very happy with the quality of this film - no problems at all. The service from this company was excellent as well - great price, and shipped in a timely manner (with an email notifying me of shipping). Would buy from again, and would recommend!

Betty Hutton steals the show
Terrifically entertaining movie! Lots of laughs and good music too. Excellent cast. Eddie Bracken and Betty Hutton are great together. For me she just steals the show with her infectious non-stop enthusiasm. Enjoyed her singing and dancing and some of her gags are just hilarious.Highly recommend! highly

The Fleets In Great Entertainment
I thoroughly enjoyed "The Fleets In". The black and white print was very good. This is a great wartime entertainment movie with excellent performances from Dorothy Lamour, William Holden, Eddie Bracken and Betty Hutton. Not forgetting Cass Daly with an hilarious sketch, and an amazing crazy ballroon dance couple. Thoroughly recomended. And of course the introduction of songs "Tangerine" and "I'll Remember you.
