Set in 1914, this atmospheric adventure follows young Lonny Bascombe (Jeff East) through the eerie swamplands near his Georgia home. Lonnie's thrilling saga begins when he and his hunting dog are attacked by Weakfoot, a vicious jungle panther. Shortly afterward Lonnie is captured by a wild man believed to have been dead for many years! In his efforts to escape , the boy faces even greater dangers from quicksand, poisonous snakes, swamp fever... and weakfoot, who continues to stalk the boy, apparently intent on finishing him off.
