Produced in 1930 by Poverty Row entrepreneur William Pizor, this shoddy Western starring silent screen cowboy Buffalo Bill, Jr. (aka Jay Wilsey) remained on the shelf until it was released by Sol Lesser's Principal Distributing Corp. in 1932. Unjustly accused of a crime and on the lam, Bill Rusk (Bill, Jr.) hides out in Trona County, where he gets in on a crooked betting scheme. He reconsiders, however, when lovely Mary Lou (Lucile Browne) borrows money against her mortgage in order to bet on Bill's horse "Chile" in the big race. Bill manages to win the race, despite the threats of his former cohorts, and he turns himself over to the sheriff. Mary Lou and young sidekick Bobby (Bobby Nelson) promise to wait for him.
